35th Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival

Kick-off Party | Friday, Feb. 23rf | 5-7pm
Kick-off the weekend of the Sandestin Gumbo Festival with a traditional shrimp boil at Hammerhead’s Bar & Grille. Enjoy a southern tradition with fresh gulf shrimp, corn on the cob, sausage, boiled potatoes, and a cup of gumbo ya ya. Live music starting at 4pm.
Main Event | Saturday, Feb. 24th | 12-4pm
Gulf Coast restaurants will be featuring their top secret recipes! Spend the day sampling a variety of gumbo! What’s your favorite– dark or light roux? chicken & sausage? seafood? Then, vote for your favorite for the “People’s Choice Award.” Local celebrity judges will name the “Area’s Best,” and award the most creative set-up as “Best Display.” Enjoy live Zydeco music and family entertainment.
Back this year, Best Bloody Mary’s at The Beach sponsored by Pickers Vodka! Taste some of the finest bars’ and restaurants’ Bloody Marys on the coast AND you’re the judge! Vote for your favorite and help them win the title of “Best Bloody Mary at The Beach”!
This year’s event is promising to serve up fun for everyone.
