Wear your costume and join Rodeo Captains, Anglers, Rodeo Judges, Miss Destin and staff to be a part of the largest Halloween Party in Destin. Don’t miss a minute of this fun night at the Rodeo that ends with a Bang as A.J.’s sponsors the Rodeo/Halloween Fireworks Finale!

Pumpkinpalooza: Children & Pets Costume Contest Oct 28th

Enjoy an afternoon of fun with your kids at HarborWalk Villages Pumpkinpalooza Candy Crawl and Mutt Strut!

Fun for the whole family, including four-legged members, is happening as HarborWalk Village celebrates Halloween from 2 – 5p.m. with our annual Pumpkinpalooza children and pet costume contest. Get ready to show off your spook-tabular costumes on HarborWalk Village’s main stage. Trick-or-treat on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk at all restaurants and shops at HarborWalk Village and kids crafts.

2pm – Kids Contest ||. Age groups 0-4, 5-9, 10-12.

Pumpkinpalooza: Pub Crawl & Adult Costume Contest Oct 27th

Why let kids have all the fun? Dress up for a night of fantasy and fun at HarborWalks scariest pub-crawl!

The night of fright begins at 6:00pm with the Monster Mash pub crawl throughout the village. At 7pm, Tyler Livingston takes over HarborWalk Village’s main stage, to rock the night away, followed by fireworks over the Harbor at 9:00pm finally the night wraps up with the adult costume contest on the main stage at 9:30pm. The winning stakes for the most creative costume are high during this grown-up ghouls costume contest. Must be 21 or older to attend.

8th Annual Emerald Coast Duck Regatta, Oct 6th

Save the date for this year’s eighth annual Emerald Coast Duck Regatta on Saturday, Oct. 6 from at the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort benefiting Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Volunteer Guild.

The event features fun activities for the whole family beginning at 10 a.m., including Abrakadoodle face painters, a scavenger hunt, Hula-Hoop contest, and access to the Baytowne Carousel for children 12 and under from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

During the Duck Regatta approximately 3,000 numbered rubber duckies will race across the Lagoon at the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Prizes will be awarded to the owners of the first ducks to cross the finish line, including a $5,000 first place prize! The duck race will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Ducks are available for adoption at the Sacred Heart Hospital Gift Shop in Miramar Beach, online at www.emeraldcoastduckregatta.com or at Baytowne Wharf the day of the event. Make a donation of $10 or more to the Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Guild to adopt a duck. Purchase one duck for $10, three ducks for $27, six ducks for $50 or 12 ducks for $100.

Proceeds from this year’s Duck Regatta event will benefit the Sacred Heart Cancer Center. The Cancer Center is experiencing an unprecedented increase in the need for their patient treatment services. The Cancer Center will need to expand availability of its current treatment services to keep up with demand. Your donations to the 2018 Duck Regatta will help acquire additional chemotherapy chairs for patients and an additional chemotherapy preparation hood that keeps the clinician working with chemo medications safe and the medications sterile. The Emerald Coast Duck Regatta is generously supported by many organizations in the community, including event sponsors, gift in kind sponsors and community sponsors. Enjoy an evening of sipping, savoring and shopping your way along the Destin Harbor.

Celebrate the arts, dining, history and community spirit that makes Destin, Florida so special.

The Destin History and Fishing Museum along with Charter Captains from HarborWalk Charters will be sharing their favorite fish tales and fishing heritage of Destin highlighting the areas fishing heritage alongside freshly prepared seafood dishes from local chefs. The area’s best artists will be displaying hand-crafted jewelry, paintings and more. The youngest guests can stop by the Abrakadoodle table to create and take home their own masterpiece. Local favorite, Flash Flood, will be featured on the main stage. Sing along to your favorite tunes from throughout the decade. The evening ends with a firework show over the Destin Harbor at 9:00pm.

Tickets are $15 per person and include beer sampling, a mini beer stein, live music & kids crafts. Small plates are available to purchase from participating restaurants. Parking is free.
